The Australians are accused by the Indian ODI team in starting the provocation between Australia and India, since the youngster players in India are said to be aggravated by the Australian players.

Although Ishant Sharma, a member of the Indian team was reprimanded for his assault on Andrew Symonds, Dhoni rebutted that hew was in fact provoked by the Australian player. This instance took place on Sunday, during the Sydney Tri-series match.
Dhoni proclaimed in Hobart by Tuesday, “It was merely a reaction by what Symonds had stated to him.”

“Even when you are already aggravated, you still need to be careful with your responses”, he stated.
“Our team has some really young players, who need to learn this discipline. It is still an art, after all. It needs the right expertise.”
According to Brett Lee, an Australian fast bowler, there was no hostility evident on the field during that time.
“It’s all about competitiveness, and playing tough,” Lee proclaimed.
“However, it is not impossible for camaraderie to develop on the field, as evidence by the past months.”
“We have formed friendships from the Indian team.”
“Cricket will be far from sociable, nonetheless,” Dhoni opined.
“Aggressiveness is a part of the entire game. However as long as both teams never fail to cross the boundaries, it’s fine.”
